Is God Really Into Me That Much?
Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Come on Jesus, You really know me this well? Is this just a figure of speech? They say, the average person has between 90,000-150,000 hairs on their heads! Yet Jesus knows the exact number, maybe its more or less! I don't believe Jesus was exaggerating here. He is into you that much! Some may say, that's too much, but never with God! He knows everything about you. Basically, your not just a number to Him. When you feel, He doesn't even know you exist, or He isn't listening to you. Maybe He doesn't care about you, well this verse proves otherwise! Someone who doesn't care doesn't bother with these details. This info isn't going to save you or probably isn't going to encourage you to continue on yet it should remind us that God cares about the smallest details of our lives so what do you think He knows about the greater issues?
Its been my personal quest in life to remember peoples names! Seems worthless except the obvious when addressing them. But I have found that that little detail has opened greater degrees of relationships! When Im constantly asking, hey tell me again your name, it speaks volumes to them, hey you really don't care! Maybe so, but when I keep the small details, like a name, its like the number of hairs on your head, I will know more about you! I cant tell you how many times, someone was just shocked I remembered their name. I do care and when I apply myself to care, even in the small things, it matters! God, I know You care about greater things in my life than how much hair I have or don't have! This verse is proof of that!

This reminds me also of this verse Isaiah 46:4
nI am your God and will take care of you until you are old and your hair is gray. I made you and will care for you. I will give you help and rescue you.
Thats right Quincy! So cool. The LORD is so into us. Im not sure I'll ever understand what makes me so fascinating, but so greatful He loves us such. Everyday we are graced to live, He reveals a little more of who He is and the intricate fine details make more sense. You are His worksmenship created for good works in Christ.
