Be Like the Farmer
2 Timothy 2:6 The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.
Most farmers I've met are very hardworking. But just so we know here, like the hardworking Farmer who is 1st to partake of their crops, we are to 1st partake of our LORD. We cant give what we don't have. I don't know any farmer so tight they wont keep a few bushels back for themselves. Its a great benefit of being a farmer, you get the freshest foods. Also, you know what your giving out as well. How can you tell others God delivers if He has never delivered you? How do you tell others He is full of compassion if you have never experienced that compassion? There are many experiences I have yet to have and that doesn't mean I cant speak with authority on those until then. But, we can speak with confidence because we have ultimately experienced Him whom gave us these things. We are doers of His word, not just hearers. We obey as He speaks.
