Hated for Christ Sake

Matthew 24:9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

I cant think of another people group on the planet, in history, that has endured what Israel has! I believe, everyone has their share to blame for some trials to some degree but what the Jews have went thru is mostly satanic hatred of God focused at His people. There is simply no other explanation to the atrocities the Jews have went thru other than what Jesus said here. They will be delivered up to be kill, hated, all because of Jesus sake. All believers will taste this kind of hatred because all believers call Jesus LORD. Jesus said to us, its not you they hate, its Me! I learned this very early in my walk. I saw it as my "best friend" ditched me, as religious people called me crazy for listening to worship music, as some of those around the new me didn't like to be around me anymore. My old man was dead and buried, and the new life I now lived was toward Jesus Christ. I find it interesting that today, there is really only 1 nation, the US, that stands by Israel. And we waver so often at that. There is so much hatred toward the Jews. They are the apple of Gods eye and because of that, Satan hates them.
We must all ask ourselves, will we still follow Jesus if it means severe hatred toward us? Will you stand for Jesus because He stood for you? You cant serve 2 masters, you must choose for yourself this day whom you will serve. I choose the LORD Jesus Christ.
