Jesus speaks to His church
Rev 1:11 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
Again, this is Jesus speaking here. Simply write what I show you John. Send My messages to the churches. Seven churches that will represent all churches. This is how we should read & apply Jesus' message to these churches:
1st These were literal individual churches that Jesus spoke pros & cons about. Take it literal.
2nd These churches represent every historical church age in the exact order of history up until today. Example: Laodicea, the last church, represents the apostate church, lukewarm church, which perfectly speaks to the church as a whole today. No more churches by the way! Historical
3rd every church up until this day have characteristics of any of these seven churches. which church best describes your church, then you also have Christs remedy. So these churches are prophetic.
4th each person individually have characteristics that make up who they are. You can change for better or worse. But you belong to God and it takes Gods word to change you. Which church best represents who you are? So each church takes on personal applications to our lives.
This is truly amazing! Literal, historical, prophetic, & personal application. Enjoy!

So specific. Then, throughout history and now. The Word of God is always relevant.
