The LORD Never Forsakes Us
1 Samuel 12:22 For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
I hope you are reminded of this everyday. God is pleased that you are His. His children often leave Him or turn away from Him, yet He will never do that to us. All the times I left Him yet He was always one call away. Israel would have a well documented history of leaving their God but they also have a well documented history of God never leaving them. No matter what has been said or done, the LORD will never leave you. I so love this. I never want to forsake Him but when I do, He is always there with open arms to receive me back. This doesnt negate any consequences during that moment of straying away. Maybe you are far from Him today, just know, He is one call away, and it doesnt even need to be a loud call either.

Good devotional this morning. There are alot of times I have some major issues that I have a hard time controlling. One of the main verses I always fall back on is Isaiah 41:10,13. 10: Fear thou note, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
n13: For the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee
nIt always makes me cry just knowing that God will never ever leave us, praise Him always and always keep your Faith!!
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restored my soul: he leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23
nI am leaning on God’s grace, mercy, promises! My confidence belongs to him. ;)
