A Man of True Grit
1 Samuel 13:3 And Jonathan attacked the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it.
You wont find a greater example of a courageous man than Jonathan in the Bible. He will show us many great characteristics of a believer. Jonathan, being young here, immediately attacks the enemy stronghold over Israel. He made waves with the Philistines. You get out of life what you put into the Lord! If you trust God, walk out His word, live in victory, you will experience great things. I don't for the life of me, ever underatand why anyone would want to walk halfheartedly after knowing the Lord. I walked this way for a long time before coming to the Lord but when I came to experience the power of the living God, all in is the only option. Now, our all in is more an all out but give Him All your heart. What Jonathan did here makes absolute sense to me. Walking with God is no time to be skidish or conservative. This courage is only given thru the Spirit.
