Gods Word Keeps us From SIn
Psalm 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD! 2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! 3 They also do no iniquity;They walk in His ways.
Sounds like something Jesus would say? Because He did! He gave David the inspiration here. The Word of God will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the Word of God. We must walk after Jesus. We must keep His Word. We must seek after Jesus. All these are active participation words. Reality is, we often set these things aside yet the Holy Spirit encourages us to pick them back up and do them now, presently. I don't like to eat healthy, I often say, tomorrow I will, but that has never proved succesfull for me. Today is the day to live right, do right, be right and it requires looking and spending time with the LORD.
