God is Light
John 1: 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
Jesus wasn't just a light. Jesus is Light. This is a simple basic attribute of who God is. There is no darkness in God. No evil thought, no evil intention found in God. I do somewhat know this through my experiences but most of all, because the word of God tells me so! Darkness cannot overcome God. It may make a Hollywood film that darkness wins but there is never even a struggle with God. When I literally flip a switch in a dark room, never once did the darkness fight back. When God said, let there be light, light was! Now, what darkness seems to be overcoming you right now? What great mountain seems to be un-passable? You only need Gods light to defeat that! Oh what amazing victory we have in Jesus! All darkness cant overcome Gods light in us.
