Have a Good Life
3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
This was a simple blessing or greeting to have a good journey in life. I believe the Christian should want others to do well. We want others to experience life to its fullest. Obviously, we can never be void of trials and pain in this life, but why not enjoy those times when we don't. This has been taken out of context to springboard the prosperity doctrine. That God desires all believers to always have health & wealth and any diversion from that is failure of faith on your part. I utterly reject this false heretical teaching for it will destroy a church like cancer. If my brother or sister is battling cancer, of coarse, I'm going to pray the our LORD heals them but most of all, I will pray God strengthens them and His will be done. God's will is always good. He see's what we can never see. The LORD is always with us so in that, our journey will be good!

Amen. In this life we will have trials and tribulations, but Jesus has overcome these. He is our Comforter and our Peace.
God’s will! YES, GOD’S WILL! Either we will healed physically (“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
nWho forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;” Psalm 103:2-3), OR we will be healed with perfect peace and wholeness with God’s presence. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4. AMEN!
