Casting Crowns
Revelation 4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne.
If, and I believe they are, the 24 Elders represents the church, this will describe our worship before our God. We will fall down before Him & we will cast our crowns before His feet. Now, these crowns are not for us but are given to the believer by our gracious God. The Bible speaks of no fewer than 5 types of crowns we can acquire now by our choices to live after Christ. We will in worship give back to Jesus what He has given us. I mean, what else can I offer to God that He doesn't already have? We can give Him our hearts & lives now. This is what I intend to do. My old man is dead and gone, behold the life I now have I live unto the Son of God.
