Only One Worthy
Revelation 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
John first seen the utter depravity of a world that would be permenantely under sin & death. This is complete hopelessness. This world can only offer hopeless agendas. Who wants to live under a system that says we came from ooze or a monkey? That says apes are our ancestors? Where there is no moral absolutes? When you reject God and say there is no God, that's exactly what you are doing. The good news is, there is One who is worthy to purchase & redeem Gods creation back to Himself. Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lamb of God slain for the sin of the world. We are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
