The Song of the Redeemed
Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
This new song of worship is quite telling. There is only one group of people who can possibly claim to sing this. Not angels! Only the church can claim the blood of Jesus redeemed us! Oh, and notice, these are personal pronouns, us and we! Here is a revelation that will amaze you: We will be singing this song to our LORD! Im practicing now! Only Jesus' blood can redeem us. Jesus has made us kings and priests. Jesus promised us we will rule and reign with Him.
