Gods Prepared Place
Revelation 12: 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
We often think of the places God prepares for us in a negative sense such as in this text. There will be great persecution against the Jews during the last half of the 7 year tribulation but Gods answer to this is the wilderness, prepared by God. Most likely the ancient rock city of Petra. But I have discovered in my life, that God has been preparing me places every bit of the way. And above all, my Father has been preparing me a body for heaven since Jesus ascended to heaven and the Holy Spirit was given. My calling and life has been a constant testimony of Gods preparations. God prepared a place for us here in south Mississippi long before we stepped foot here in June of 2005. God was preparing me to be an under shepherd of Calvary Chapel Gulf Coast since its inception in 2000. I was called into bible college to advance my calling to be a pastor at the very same time this church began! I just had no clue whatsoever my calling was here! What has God been preparing in your life? Can you see the big picture yet? Go ahead and testify if you like by jotting down a note or two on what God has prepared of you.
