Why Fight the LORD
Psalm 2:1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
Where do all wars and fighting come from anyways? What sense does it make to kill? Why cant people have a civil conversation. War, at least in mans case, is the breakdown of dialogue. Countless blood has been shed, and for what?
The answer is actually found in the Bible. The root is centered in this hatred of God and this attempt by satan to stop gods plans and word. Ultimately, the anger is pointed at Christ. One day soon, the whole world will march in line behind and for the antichrist. he will be the one the world stage is demanding. He is no match against the true Christ. What a vain ambition he has! We must make sure every one of our stances is firmly upon Christ and His kingdom.
